can I just check something with everyone who rings the CSA so often, their number has become a BT 'friends and family' - do not ring the 0845 number if you're using your mobile as you will be charged even if you're on inclusinve free minutes contract.

Just a quick update. I managed to speak to someone higher up the food chain at the CSA, who was appalled at my story and I am arranging a meeting with him, my MP and myself, just waiting for a date.

Also had a call from the lady who is dealing with my complaint (coincidence or do you think he gave her a nudge?) who said it will be a while yet before she can answer as she is looking at getting me an ex-gratia payment, but couldnt say too much as it was "a bit dodgy" , her words not mine. I asked if that was same as a Special Payment, as I have already had one of those for £100 which quite frankly is an insult, and she said it was something completely different.

So am kind of feeling better in a way, but not sure about this dodgy payment she is referring to! Am really looking forward to my meeting with my MP and the chap from the CSA, I have a whole file of depressing reading for them to wade through!

Another update!

I spoke to my Mp last week who agreed to arrange a meeting with my high up person at the CSA and myself, was just waiting for a date.
Have now received an email from the Mp who said she has spoken to my man at the CSA and they have decided not to pursue a meeting at this time, instead my MP is writing to the CSA ( to say what isnt clear) and will update me whan they receive a reply.

I am fuming (again). This is not what i asked for, as for my MP writing to the CSA, she hasnt told me what she will be saying, will probably not get a reply despite waiting forever, which is why i wanted to cut out the corresponding and get straight to a face to face meeting, seems even that is being denied me. Am so fed up with all this I could scream.

After speaking to my man at CSA on Friday, he told me to ask my MP to write to the Minister, and ask for a copy of the letter to me. So have done that and just waiting again to see what happens now. probably will take another few weeks, but hey Ive been waiting 13 years already, what's another few weeks!

Request a Face to Face meeting yourself anyway and explain what is wrong and what you are trying to get your MP to do and ask them to find out exactly what is going on.

I just
had a reply from my MPs office when I sent her an email asking what she had written to the Minister
this was her reply:

"We do understand your frustration and are doing everything possible to get this matter resolved for you. Please do allow us to follow our system that we have found to be successful in the past."
