you can not just create jobs you have to bring a law in like in NYC where you are not allowed to discriminate against the unemployed. And maybe the over qualified!0

Contacted them how? By phone? Yes a genuine date mistake but you could have said you emailed them!0

Call them to ask what? If they have any jobs? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I know as I job search EVERY DAY like I have told you with no days off.
Call them to ask what? If they have any jobs?
the important thing here though, is making such a mistake on my sheet a sanctionable offence.0 -
donnajunkie wrote: »yes i agree phoning is daft. all they do is say send us your cv or we will contact you if you are suitable for a job. i think the jobcentre thinks it will impress them so much that they will say can you start tomorrow.

Start tomorrow where? LOL Who is paying your phone bill?
exactly. they are still going to want to see your cv and are only going to consider you if you are suitable and you still have to be better than everyone else. and i think they must think phone calls are free for the unemployed.0 -

That's on mine too, but my advisor said to just ignore it. Apparently the forms are out of date :rotfl: and using email is acceptable.0 -

Technically yes. But it will depend on how much of a rat bag the adviser is and whether they are meeting their "expectations", or what you and I call targets (for sanctions).
But unless what you've written somehow unalterably ties it to the day you wrote it down, you would easily be able to defend any doubt raised. Everyone makes mistakes and accidentally writing a wrong date or putting something under a wrong date isn't the end of the world. Assuming this isn't something that happens regularly.
And, by the way, this is exactly why you shouldn't write your job searches down - present them verbally instead, as you are entitled to.0
