Technically yes. But it will depend on how much of a rat bag the adviser is and whether they are meeting their "expectations", or what you and I call targets (for sanctions).

But unless what you've written somehow unalterably ties it to the day you wrote it down, you would easily be able to defend any doubt raised. Everyone makes mistakes and accidentally writing a wrong date or putting something under a wrong date isn't the end of the world. Assuming this isn't something that happens regularly.

And, by the way, this is exactly why you shouldn't write your job searches down - present them verbally instead, as you are entitled to.
i put the date for contacting the agency as the bank holiday monday and they questioned how that was possible.
theres nothing stopping me from (if i have to) just filling in another form for the period but correctly and then just denying the accusation is there? dont they have to prove i did wrong?

That's on mine too, but my advisor said to just ignore it. Apparently the forms are out of date :rotfl: and using email is acceptable.
but what if one day you show it to a jobs worth who says you havent met your agreement because you havent phoned anyone.

How can you prove verbally you have applied for 40 jobs?

If you mean read them all out to the JC I am sure they have not got time past the 1st line.

I don't think that will happen. From what I've been told they don't care how you contact the companies.

It's easier to just say you made an honest mistake and accidentally wrote it in the wrong place. Like I say, unless this sort of thing occurs regularly they won't be able to uphold any doubt they might raise against it.

Doesn't change the fact that you are free to present your job search activity in any way you choose, including verbally. Fully expect them to kick up a fuss though if you do try it - the advisers are ignorant of many regulations!

so just telling the truth that it was a mistake will be enough? surely then if they sent a doubt through to the office saying it is because i made a mistake then they will reject it without me even hearing about it?
