they are meant to sign them but don't bother and then you get the advisors who tell you , you can now throw them away after you have signed on. Oh I am not that silly - I have them all I say :)

to be fair it wasnt the usual signing for me. it was a 30 minute appointment. even so they dont usually study them that much.
i'm looking forward to tomorrow when i turn up for an appointment that probably doesnt exist. still better to look stupid than take a chance by not turning up.

post wp support. although they claimed the person who made the booking made it under the wrong thing. they started by saying they wouldnt be able to do the appointment and then proceeded to give me loads of grief. i just thought you changed your mind then.
they also stated something odd. they claimed the first appointment you have is post wp support and then after that it is something else.

The first apt with the JC after the WP is for support?

Then the next ones are for something else? Is that what you are saying?

I had my after the WP apt back in July and not seen anyone since. Have an apt this Friday to see the woman and no idea what's that going to be for although she has to give me the report from the National Careers Service that they were meant to email to me 2 months ago!

See its going really well so far

yes that is what they told me.

at mine it seems like we are not guaranteed to see the same adviser each time. they have booked me in to see someone from the careers service. that will be pointless just like it was the last time they booked me in to see someone from the careers service. they just went on about care work and hospitality work. i see an adviser 2 days later to talk about what happened. no doubt if i dont tell them what they want to hear i will get loads of grief.
  • Heard rumblings from my advisor about a 6 week work programme completers course but its not been fully planned yet and he will let me know ?

Anybody heard anything else on this matter ?

    6 weeks seems very excessive.....

The National Careers service saw everyone at the same time as the jc apt hence me being there for over 2 hours!

The man said to me 'I cant see why you are not working'!!! ARGH!!!

Meant to send me an action plan and never did so I will get it on Friday which is bound to be rubbish as he said I don't need to re write me CV or cover letters.

Its no 'support' so far and they admit they can offer any to me and probably lots of other people too.

    6 weeks programme, when?

With who? The same provider who you were on the WP with?

How is this going to get someone a job interview?
