I don't care for compliments at all
It was more an observation of your mindset and commitment to try and find work, even if unsuccessful than a compliment but you're welcome. On the other hand, some on here would possibly be scared of the prospect of an interview as it might lead to work.
Obviously an interview doesn't commit to an offer but does give a candidate an opportunity to show what they have to offer.0 -

But some interviewers then interview you for a totally different job, expect you to work overtime plus drive
Or totally take against you from before they meet you0 -

True, there is conditionality attached. When we pay tax and NI it's on condition that we have a safety net when we lose our jobs.
I've paid into this system since I was 16, you're telling me that was for nothing and I'd have to beg and be grateful when I asked them to come good on their end of the deal? Odd how it doesn't seem to matter when people pop over here to live and jump on the benefits system they haven't paid a penny into and where we couldn't dream about doing the same in their country of origin.
Don't dare tell me that immigrants all graft their rear ends off either, waking past my local jobcentre you'll hear very little English being spoken.
I'm amazed how easily the British public can be turned on a minority without any good reason by politicians, reminds me of another guy in the late 30's in Germany who did the same. Those who fail to heed their history are doomed to repeat it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The government's idea is to turn one group against another, and media, such as the DM, assist in this.
I seriously find it hard to believe anyone thinks the DM is anything but a comic, but some obviously do, and they believe all the garbage (but obviously don't read all the corrections the DM then has to put in the paper!)
Lin :doh:You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

Totally agree with this. People who have worked for years and suddenly find themselves redundant shouldn't have to beg for what is rightfully theirs.
And people like sensibleadvice fall hook line and sinker for the government propaganda that suggests all unemployed are lazy and not looking for work.0 -
