i dont mind them having it. i just dont want criminals stealing my identity.

I was surprised to learn that this new jobmatch site is actually developed by Monster.com and has had a fair few dodgy results from people using it ..and some very dodgy vacancies to say the least. http://money.aol.co.uk/2012/12/13/!!!!!!-job-advertised-on-government-website/

Why is it that when I Google anything someone is always talking about it on MSE high in the rankings? :rotfl:

  • I'm now several weeks into my post WP ordeal. As I suspected, it's all a paper tiger. The letter they sent me indicated I would be kept under close scrutiny by the JobCentre with a load of hoops I have to jump through to keep my benefit. In reality, the advisor at the job centre has no more time to spend persecuting me than did the clowns at Ingeus. She doesn't find jobs for me to apply for and she doesn't keep the phone appointments she makes. Oops, does that mean she should have her salary stopped as they would my benefit if I didn't do the things I'm supposed to?

saw something on the news last night, only caught part of it though, there were rows of computers at the jobcentre and it said something like people will have to look at computers for work when they sign on?

    anyone know?

I left the WP in June, they haven't bothered much with me as I'm off to college in two weeks. Can't come soon enough and this farce will be over. Sick of the hassle of applying for endless jobs I haven't a hope in getting or even want in the first place. I'm 49yrs old, who's going to employ me and I was on the sick for a few years which goes against me. So I had to take action!

I would rather work for myself, but they give you no help whatsoever, no funding etc...so, I'm off to do it my own way.
I'll be working for myself when I go to college, freedom at last.:)

My JC has 3 computers and you can guess with the returners from the WP are having to wait ages to get a time slot to use them.

maybe cause it could say on the JSA agreement to use the 'points' at the JC when you go in?

Not sure if the pc's are the same as the 'points' they used to have for the job search website
