No if they have no jobs they do not keep you on file unless they have told you as they then have broken data protection and ones that have I have told them to keep me on file till they hear other wise. that's not getting cleaver those are the facts.donnajunkie wrote: »i would be tempted to get clever and say you have seen my cv havent you? they say yes. there isnt anything wrong with it is there? they say no. well it is the employers who decide whether i get an interview or not so you really should take issue with them regarding me not getting interviews. We’ve had to remove your signature. i have been told many times the done thing is to keep your cv for 6 months and i have heard from employers weeks or months later in the past. if it is like you say and they only keep your cv if they tell you first then you could actually apply to the same employers every few weeks if you wanted to.No if they have no jobs they do not keep you on file unless they have told you as they then have broken data protection and ones that have I have told them to keep me on file till they hear other wise. all i was originally saying really is once you have sent a cv to an employer it doesnt mean you can never send them a cv again and its upto you what the best amount of time to leave it is. also i am sure i have heard somewhere the law says they must destory your cv after 6 months. that is why i said after 6 months hassle them again.0 -

No they can tell you how long they are going to hold it or you agree to something else hence me also emailing everyone who has me on hold every 4-6 months to remind them of me

Not really If they agree. No one can make an employer interview you even if you have a great CV and letter as agreed by the WP and JCdonnajunkie wrote: »yes i agree but their thinking will be, great hes being a smart a**e.We’ve had to remove your signature. yes I know that and what are they doing about it? Nothing! No one has however given me grief they have all agreed.donnajunkie wrote: »what i said would be in response to an adviser giving you grief for not getting interviews. basically showing them they are out of order. We’ve had to remove your signature. I had my PWPS interview a couple of days ago. I actually came out with less to do on my JSAg than when I went in! :j
The only thing that looks likely is that I'll have to do some sort of voluntary work, but I was fully expecting that so it's no big deal. Oh, and I have to sign on weekly - but I'm working on that one - again no big deal.0
