No I am not doing that. I think everyone is doing and being told something different and its not universal what we are doing at the JC

As AP007 says it's different for everyone and depends on many things. But, if they have a lot of work places available and you have no recent work experience you can almost guarantee to be sent on some sort of work experience for a month at least.

If you're doing voluntary work they cannot mandate you to MWA:

    19. Given the policy intent of MWA, the following claimants must not be
    considered for referral to MWA:
 currently working (paid or voluntary)

fib say you do a couple of days. mention it to your voluntary work what you are telling the jc and say if you said you only do half a day they could lose you to a work placement. that way they will back you up if questioned about it.

Every JCP have different resources so operate slightly different, it should be an interview with 15 days of finishing WP.
Each customer is assesed and placed into one of two groups dependant on date of claim and job readyness. One group will pretty much continue as normal, the other group attend twice a week for supported jobsearch as a minimum, we start from the beginning again with C.V., jobsearch, application and interview techinques. We look at work experience, MWA or voluntary work and training and every job that is issued is followed up.
Each customer is manadated to register and use UJ (no not give us access) we also book some for obserations jobsearch sessions.

If after 26 weks customers are still unempoyed again one of two journeys. they either continue with jcp but follow the same path as group two, group two will be referred to community action programme which will mean 30 hrs per work, per week. It is expected that 1/3 WP returners will be referred to community action programme.

The journey and rules for this are not yet written so all the ins and outs are yet to go through parlament.

so after 6 months even if you do voluntary work you will be taken away from it? either due to increased jc attendance or cap.

Stop trying to push the party line on UJM. No-one has to accept mandation to UJM as there is no legislation to support that. I had my PWPS interview today and though he tried to get me to register with UJM I am still not, nor will I be.

I have never been told to get a UJM account as I have told them I use the site and can prove it but we all know you do not need an account to apply for all the 3rd party jobs on there! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
