im not bothered about a job im 56yrs old worked all my life and got nowt to show for it,now im tired and want to rest.

(my sons been on my laptop, little b----r)

Haven't you had a rest for nearly three years now though?

Many people have worked a lot longer and got nothing to show for it, way of the world I'm afraid but I fail to see why others should work hard to support other people who want a rest. You have another 20 years till you het you pension so how much longer you planning to rest?

No getting a job isn't easy but staying on JSA will not become any easier.

well i have now had a normal signing on since leaving wp and am hoping it doesnt keep like that. they kept me waiting and then when i finally got called i was there for alot longer than normal. i didnt have to show evidence. they started to go through each item starting with are you looking at 3 sites a day. i just said i do everything thats on my agreement, it was left at that. they asked if i had made a new email and what it was. they then put my email into the computer to search for proof that i had registered on ujm. they did a few other things on the computer and i dont know what it was they were doing. i again got pressured to make my cv public on ujm.

You can't be mandated to provide the Jobcentre/DWP with a CV (i.e. you can't be sanctioned for not providing a CV). So if you want to keep your CV private just delete it from the system! :D

Assuming, of course, that you haven't been silly and signed your JSAg with the "consent to Jobcentre Plus retaining my CV" box ticked.

My JC have a copy of my CV as the advisor asked to see it - nothing to hide but I do not have a UJM account.

The point is that the choice is yours to make. They can mandate you to have a CV but can't mandate you to give or even show it to them.

But they can't retain a copy of CV unless you've given them a copy or given access or made CV public.

But even then you must be able to withdraw consent, as it's your CV, your own private data.
