i didnt say its ok. i said legally you arent breaking your agreement so long as you have applied for the number of jobs the agreement asks of you. are you just ignoring points that are made like they never ask if the jobs listed are specs or advertised?

I don't keep my separate they go on the same piece of paper. However I don't see how someone can write them down in a way that isn't reconcilable as what has been done. I either write, applied for admin assistant at xxxxxx via indeed ref xxxxx, or sent spec letter to xxxxx.

trouble is there is no minimum, you have to apply for all jobs you can do, if your agreement says apply for 5 jobs a week but there are 20 jobs on direct gov, then you still have to apply for 20 or risk being sanctioned, the agreement is very misleading.

they said they can mandate a job that finishes at 2.30pm if you have a limit of 2pm. i agreed that if they said would you be willing to apply for that job then its ok for them to do that. mandating them to do it is wrong. theres a reason why the person has put the limit at 2pm and not 2.30pm. if 2.30pm was ok they would have put that. unless they are clueless they would win any appeal.

The sheet says

DATE, JOB TITLE, COMPANY NAME, CONTACT DETAILS, WHERE DID YOU SEE THE JOB ADVERTISED, METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DATE WHEN YOU WILL FOLLOW UP

So let me think...............do you think this sheet if for spec letters or job applications?

They have no need to ask as they are JOB APPLICATIONS and they all say that and the spec sheet I have says this as headings

Date, Company (name and address), what they do ie industry, who I emailed and then did I hear back

Since this sheet says nothing about a job advert I am guessing any fool knows its spec letters

yes you can specify if you wish but theres no box titled spec or advertised please state.
