look its fine if you choose to do that its a free country. to think it should be an obligation is wrong.
Why? What else where you doing on Wednesday the 25th Dec? Or Thursday the 26th?

So you think if you apply for ZERO advertised jobs for the next month that's ok?

Seriously?? Please tell me you are joking?
    Sadly I doubt it.

If I have read it wrong it's due to your poor punctuation and grammar.

I was thinking the same. Perhaps JC staff should be subject to the same English skills test that is being proposed for claimants.

My advisor did say you didnt have to look on xmas day. Who knows these days who is right. There are so many lies around and mistakes.
i think most advisers wouldnt expect it. however these days you never know when you may get a bad adviser. so if your agreement is worded in such a way that would mean you are expected to then you should certainly put down that you did. this year i didnt need to show anything for that period because i was excused for the first signing after xmas. so i was able to have a common sense approach without having to fib.

You may not like me (on here) but I seriously think people get the !!!! they deserve from the JC. Keep going on about how bad the advisors are and they are going to be sanctioned. Anyone wonder why?

I keep my spec letters on a sheet of A4 paper that's on going. All the jobs I apply for are on the sheets they give me.
thats fine if you keep them seperate so they know which is which. they dont require it though.

Another 'do the very minimum to keep a grasp on benefits' post. Such minimum in, moan at every conceivable thing along the way making sad excuses types posts are indicative of types who don't want to work.

Clearly you didn't grasp the point a jobseeker might actually WANT to find a job.
i didnt say anything about doing the minimum. i said the minimum is all that can be required of a person. and for your information i usually get told i do more than enough.

That's like saying you will pass if you get a grade C so only aim for a C, not an A
