Evening all, flip another day and all I've done is run the roads. Really need a good kick....
Everywhere needs a good tidy, even DD bedroom which is usually tidy is a complete mess... Really need to sort myself out because tomorrow i'm on the road all day.
DS1 been at football all morning which he has loved, must get his kit washed for tomorrow. We're to go tomorrow to see puppy which is about 30 miles away and then lift DD which is 55 miles away.

Speedy recovery mumto5
Welcome to all newbies and returners.
Back from work. Just ate tea. Now I plan to get up off the sofa, wash the dishes and fly fly flyyyyyy in the kitchen. Just need to get some momentum ...0 -
Livingroom and kitchen been cleared here, dinner done, dw on, wm on second load, rubbish gone and shoes tidied up.
Gonna leave the boys down to band and then me and DS3 can go for a wee walk. Plan is to get the washing finished tonight, then when boys are away to bed i'll get the floors brushed and moped.
Right better get the boys ready.
Mumto5 hope your leg is better soon x“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
So much for that plan. The mob turned up 15 minutes early so I put them all to work helping me, and they scoffed pretty much everything I put out. And then I found another four cooked haddock chunks, that never made it to the table - cooker to fridge, for fish pie later in the week. I could kick myself though; in all the rush I forgot to put the lemon juice in the kedgeree so although everyone was very nice about it, it was a bit bland.
Lamewolf Letting go of stuff that you still really like sounds too painful to me. You never know - a cure may happen along just as you get rid of it. I'm with Pigpen and Ionafan: keep everything you really like for high days and holidays and let anything that you won't miss go.Better is good enough.0 -

Found my mojo
Picked kiddies up, DS enjoyed his first day. They said he'd been quiet, but made a particular friend, and played along with most. When I got there he was being bossed by Izzy, who is his first love, and frequently bossed him when they were toddlers, so at least he has some continuity
DD has also been fine today, still on medication.
We had a mini picnic once home, tidied up the veg patch (pulled a carrot to test, mmm) and pulled some weeds. Bathed and bed for littlies.
Then some last minute crafting - Hawaii day tomorrow. DS has surf shorts, a white tee which I've drawn a palm tree and some lily type flowers on with fabric paint, and a garland (just happened to have these), DD has her flower pattern tankini top with some crop leggings, and a "grass" skirt I've just made from some ribbon, double sided tape and the strands cut off an old cheerleaders pompom, plus garland. I'll put a flower in her hair and they can wear sunglasses...
And I've just rewarded myself with icecream. Was lush. But I've had a bad day for food today, quite naughty. Just put DW on as penance for my sins...Bossymoo
