Spent yesterday evening without any water, as did my neighbours, turned out there was a power failour at the pumping station...........
Heavens are open and pouring down on my garden, and I wanted to garden this afternoon, may have to re think and clean the oven instead!!
Pigpen, love the blanket squares, my grandmother 'tried' to teach me to knit, but I never gothe hang of it, and she was a very good knitter.
Bossy I am sure your kids will enjoy their day, lovely outfits.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning
Got DS from nursery yesterday, where he had been asleep for 2hours, refusing food and drink and a high temperature.
Spent all day and all night sponging him, bathing him, and getting him to sip water.....he finally went off to sleep at about 4 just before the storm, but then I couldn't sleep.....:(
The only extra flying that got done yesterday was sorting the half used shampoo bottles in the bathroom as stuff kept falling out of cupboards as soon as I opened the doors- I have confiscated 10 bottles of half used bottles, put a bit of water in the dregs of about 6 bottles and left them in there. They will be used up by DD3 if it kills me
As the storm got closer, I remembered that DD3 hadn't got her stuff off the line but before i could debate about pulling some clothes on versus the two youngest Skints freaking out if I wasn't in the bedroom the heavens literally opened. Well at least I didn't get sopping wet:D
Fielded the 12th phone call from passport office, but have been assured passports now all done and printed so will be leaving today :j
No nursery for poorly DS today, although he has had one triangle of peanut butter toast this morning he is still lolling around like a dead fish.
Really need to do the LR today, DD3 spilled meatballs on the creamy/beige carpet yesterday while watching TV and let it dry in without any attempt to clean it, while I was otherwise engaged looking after DS...so I need to be cracking out the V@x today if I get some co-operation from DD3 with the Skint baby DD4.....in the circumstances I think it is the least she can do.....
Time to get showered and then make a start on something at least.
Will be back for some company for HH something or other in a bitThe cold never bothered me anyway0
