Arrghhh! I chased today and it’s going to be another 5-10 working days!!!

My application went in on 28 May and my broker and I were  hoping for approval subject to valuation today.... BUT, more questions! Aaaarrrhhh! I now won’t hear anything until probably Monday which will be 3 and a half weeks.

Congrats!!!! Thanks for sharing the good news...I was thinking about giving up on Barclays earlier but you made me want to wait a little bit longer. 

Finally got my valuation done in the morning (today), hopefully I can have some of your luck and receive my offer in the next 24 hours.

My evaluation is tomorrow! I hope they will issue the offer tomorrow as well as I can't wait anymore haha

Newbie here - its been a long drawn process, thanks to COVID

Mar 17 - New build viewed and reserved 

Mar 19 - Mortgage approved subject to valuation

Mar 23 - Enters lockdown, physical valuation required

May 22 - Pulled out from purchase due to "fleecehold"

May 27 - Reserved on another newbuild

May 28 - Existing mortgage application updated with new property

Jun 2 - Lender requests for latest payslips 

Jun 4 - New Mortgage approved subject to valuation, valuation instructed
Valuation scheduled for July 8. *** Thats forever  ***

@toriade santander are really taking ages for everything. I think there very short staffed. We have been approved subject to valuation since 29th may valuation done on last monday and we have been told offer should of come today, still no offer yet.
