Is anyone else waiting on Nationwide to book a survey? We were approved subject to survey over a week ago now (app put in on 5th June) and we are still waiting for them to book something! Pulling my hair out!

Also worried now they’ve pulled there 10% deposit mortgages.. our advisor says we are ok because our application is already being processed but that doesn’t stop me worrying!

We put in our application on the 11th, according to our tracker it was instructed on the same day, today it's updated with "Valuation received and under review" - for which they said may take up until the 23rd to know the outcome (so 5-7 days from when the valuation was instructed). Not sure what type of valuation we had, but certainly feeling very nervous now!

Waiting on Barclays. Application went in last Tuesday and on Monday they instructed the valuation. No date for it yet though

We’ve been told our application has passed through initial assessment (whatever that means) and is now with The underwriters which at the moment is taking 2 weeks. I’m so anxious about it. Why do they take so long!! 😂😂

I'm now at 3 weeks since application and my case has been with the underwriters for the most part of this. They keep firing questions off to us, we answer, and then we are at the back of the queue again. Each time I expect to hear if we are approved or declined, I get more questions. A very slow and nail biting process this mortgage business!!

I can’t believe you still haven’t found out. I’ve been following your journey!!! We haven’t been asked any questions yet? Have you been given a timeline?

We’re 3rd week into this waiting game. Application went in 27th May, Valuation 3rd, apparently my application is with a 2nd team of underwriters and we’ve got a wait of up to the end of June 🙄. Hubby self employed, back up and working as of about 3 weeks ago and I swapped jobs in April, but still in the same industry.

Nope! Each time my broker suggests that there can't possibly be any more questions they want to ask, and we get hopeful for a decision....instead comes more questions! I am expecting contact from them on Monday following my latest responses....But, will this be a decision...or more questions! Who knows?? If I were confident of the outcome, I wouldn't mind so much but have to say the longer it goes on, the more twitchy I am getting
