Just got my offer today so post my timeline here:
4th AIP through broker with Natwest, hard search.
8th full application went in, online tracker says a valuation has been instructed on 8th.
9th asked my information, 11th asked more information.
12th online tracker all tick except waiting for valuation.
15th morning Broker said Natwest told them application has been approved subject to valuation.
15th Valuation took place and report has been sent to Natwest in evening. ( I contacted Natwest directly)
16th Valuation report has been received and picked by underwrite in the morning.
Offer has been issue in the afternoon. (from tacker as my broker doesn't communicate often)

I will let you know once I have received the post offer letter.
Congratulations! I'm so jealous! I submitted a full application on 2nd and I received my valuation back on 5th but they still haven't reviewed my accounts/ID/tax returns. I'm getting so impatient and the more I call, the more they seem to fob me off!  :'(
    Thank you.
Oh no, are you self-employed if I remember correct? If you have a clear credit report and already pass the Valuation, I think it's just a matter time wo wait a senior underwriter to review your case now.  I just hate waiting when no knowing what's going on and I can complete understand you. My solicitor has been instructed to do search from 4th but she just had an annual leave and only back today - -
    What are your tracker saying?

Eeep. Our application went intoday via broker. With santander....we have about 15% deposit on a 245k property....all either of  us have is a single late payment of £150 in the past 6 years! So here is us hoping it shouldn't be a problem and go through fine....bricking it

@toriade santander are really taking ages for everything. I think there very short staffed. We have been approved subject to valuation since 29th may valuation done on last monday and we have been told offer should of come today, still no offer yet.
Yes I second that they are taking ages. We are now 20 days since application. Have been asked for documents/asked questions three times now, and then have to wait around 5 calendar days for updates following new info provided. Sincerely hoping that there will be no more questions and we will at least get an approval subject to valuation next! Unbearable wait. Wouldn't it be awful to be declined after all this!!?/

Our application went in on the 9th. Hard check was done yesterday and I’ve been informed it’s gone to underwriters. Was told the first 5 days is initial assessment and we should get feedback but so far, no feedback just straight to underwriters. Been told underwriting is taking 2 weeks.
    This wait is awful!!!!

When did you get asked for further info?

Anyone have experience with Nationwide? We applied on Saturday  and they have now booked our valuation for Monday next week. Is it likely to be approved from here after the valuation?

@clm187 we applied through a broker on the 27th may, they only asked for our recent wage slip. Underwriter decision agreed subject to valuation on the 29th may. They done a desktop valution on the 8th june, and nothing since then so not sure what is going on getting really anxious

Hi, We are FTB who had our full application sent off by our MA on Monday after a few issues.

Between getting our MIP agreed on the 5th June and the offer accepted on the 9th, the company decided to pull their 10% mortgages from the market. After lots of work by our MA speaking to managers of managers the agreed to honour the principle agreement on the basis that no changes were made to it. Which after agreeing a price £1k above asking price left us with an extra thousand to pay for the deposit (oh well). It then took a few days to actually submit it as their systems wouldn't allow it to be submitted due to the mortgage not being available.

Fast forward and they did their hard searches on the 15th (that seems quick, the day it was submitted?) and we are not waiting to hear what's next...

Our Application went in yesterday evening and mortgage advisor got an email at quarter to 8 in the morning saying they have instructed a valuation of the property! Is that  normal to work as quick?

I got this too, but then later found out that the valuation had been placed on hold due to backlogs. I think some lenders do instruct right away but it doesn't necessarily mean that all the other checks are complete

We are currently waiting on NW to book our valuation, applied over 2 weeks ago! From my previous experience (we had a mortgage with them a few years ago), we got a text to say mortgage issued the day of the valuation, so it seems pretty quick once valuation is done.
