    Here's mine so far:
04/03 - offer on house accepted. Yay!
16/03 - application submitted with Barclays
17/03 - told broker they got my DOB wrong (typo)
20/03 - DOB corrected but told that no longer 95% LTV only 90% so new product chosen
23/03 - PCV uploaded to confirm changed product
30/03 - confirmed that credit check and automated valuation have both been done and no issues with either
06/04 - proof of address requested and uploaded
14/04 - Barclays claim not to have received the PCV despite broker seeing it on the portal, broker uploads it again.
20/04 - requested a form to confirm whether I've been affected by covid, e.g. furlough (luckily I haven't). Later on the broker confirmed everything but ID was showing as accepted on the portal.
23/04 - proof of address has been accepted, now just waiting for driving licence to be checked.
23/04 - technical issue as Barclays have 2 records in my name (i previously had a current account with them) and they need to merge them.
25/04 - driving licence confirmed as accepted.

Got my fingers crossed that it might get sorted this week :)
Barclays fixed that technical issue and promptly found another one this morning! But.... I finally got my offer through this evening! Yay!

Anybody had any movement on Natwest valuations yet. Their intermediary site says they are now doing desktops up to 95% LTV. I'm accepted subject to valuation so would be great if they are. I've chased my broker for an update

To update my own query. Natwest have passed my file back to underwriter to deem if a desktop valuation is suitable. Worth chasing your lender/broker if you are also in a similar position.

Thanks for that, I’ve emailed my broker to chase. We’re 95% with Natwest too- freehold house currently occupied by sellers so I’m crossing my fingers to see whether they’ll consider it.
  • My mortgage app went in today hooray!
    Offer accepted 21/3
    Mortgage app in 11/5

My broker is waiting to find out if the valuation can be done remotely. It's 85% LTV from Halifax. Anyone have any recent experience?

Unfortunately my property was considered "out of scope" for a desktop valuation, so a physical required. Still on hold. 😕

    Hi Bell
Did Natwest tell you any estimated times for when they expect to do physical valuations? I'm a 95% too, and buying a leasehold so have been on hold since march 23rd as they cant do a desktop one.
Just want to know if it will be soon now or at least have a date. My broker is on furlough so I've got no one really to ask.
My property although is leasehold flat its vacant and hasn't got any shared entrances so frustrating.

Nope but we've pressed the broker to get some kind of indication. There is guidance now allowing them to return to work in people's houses so hopefully soon.
