I am working 12 hour shifts Sunday, Monday and Tuesday so I am hoping it will take my mind off it a bit...easier said than done though! It is so scary because the valuation is the only thing we are waiting for to get our offer approved.

Hi! I’m a long time lurker, but am now waiting too so feel like I can finally join fully!
    My timeline is:
Viewed several properties, saw this one on 15th Feb.
    19th Feb- second viewing
    28th Feb- offer accepted.
    2nd March- AIP given (NatWest)
    3rd March- full application submitted
    4th March- solicitor instructed
12th March- mortgage valuation & homebuyers report to be completed

Now all I can do is to wait....
I heard on Fri 13th that the valuation has been sent to Natwest, and matches the purchase price, which is reassuring. 😀The mortgage adviser said we should receive an offer early this week once the underwriters have assessed the report.
Still waiting for our homebuyers report, and an update from the solicitor.

Has anyone heard anything from HTB yet? or aware of what date of applications they are currently looking at?

HTB timeline for me at the moment has been:

    - 25th Feb: Application submitted
    - 4th March: HTB agency were processing applications from the 11th Feb
    - 11th March: HTB processing applications from 13th Feb

So as of Wednesday last week, they were pretty much 1 month behind

I'm feeling so nervous this morning! We are the same just this and we would be able to move. With all this stuff with the virus going on I'm worried this might interfere with everything.
Fingers crossed we may hear something by tomorrow if we are lucky!

Mine was submitted a day after yours. I rang this morning and the call handler couldn’t really give me an answer in terms of what date of applications they’re looking at at the moment. I think it’ll still be a while..

    Hi Guys!
Now I get to join too!

    12/02 - Viewing perfect house
15/02 - Offer accepted (on the terms I sold my house -which wasn't even on the market- within 2 weeks)
15/02 - AIP from Halifax for more than we need
26/02 - My house on market - SOLD IN 12 HOURS!
09/03 - Full application with Halifax through broker.

EVERYTHING IS CROSSED. We have a weird situation as my partner is an IT contractor so no "perm" employment. Affordability is perfect (if they believe he has a long term job that is). GL everyone!
MORTGAGE OFFER RECEIVED TODAY! Valuation came back great (not sure when they did it) but Friday (13th) they called and said there was an issue on credit file access (nothing wrong with credit) but obviously they worked around it and the offer has come through today! I am over the moon!

8 Days from application to offer. B)
'How long is a piece of string' has never been more applicable.

    MORTGAGE OFFER HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!!!
Submitted with YBS direct on the 09/03/20 after being told by 2 brokers we wouldn't have a hope in getting a mortgage anywhere (including Accord AND Aldermore)... 8 days later and a lovely offer is on our way to us in the post! I don't think I'll ever get over the feeling when she told me everything was okay!
