You can check online on their portal and they will also send you an email as soon as they release ATP. You can also call them to check progress etc

Do you have a link to the portal? And is this only if you apply yourself, or did you go through a broker? My application went in on the 25th (via broker) and I'm still waiting. I was told 14 working days, so that's not up yet, but it'd give me comfort if there was somewhere I could see progress. I've already asked my broker for one update, but don't want to keep hassling them!

I rang them today - got through after 25 minutes of waiting! They said they’re processing applications / checking emails for applications that were sent on the 13th today, mine went in a day after yours and she said it could be end of next week - she said it only takes one hour to get the ATP (considering there’s no problems!).

Thanks. I checked with the broker too and got the same date as you: 13th. Sadly a week ago I was told they were working on applications from the 11th, so they’ve progressed two days in a week 😞

    Hi Guys!
Now I get to join too!

    12/02 - Viewing perfect house
15/02 - Offer accepted (on the terms I sold my house -which wasn't even on the market- within 2 weeks)
15/02 - AIP from Halifax for more than we need
26/02 - My house on market - SOLD IN 12 HOURS!
09/03 - Full application with Halifax through broker.

EVERYTHING IS CROSSED. We have a weird situation as my partner is an IT contractor so no "perm" employment. Affordability is perfect (if they believe he has a long term job that is). GL everyone!

    HI Kaius2009,

Did you have multiple checks on your credit score with Halifax? I have submitted my application through broker (waiting to book the valuation), but checked my credit karma account and my and my partner has been searched 6 times from Halifax (hard searches).

    Cheers

    Hi mard3010,

I checked my score and I've had 2 hard searches on my report yesterday...My partner hasn't said either way but I would imagine the same for him. I don't really understand the need for multiple searches - surely they can find out everything they need in one?! Odd, but I have heard of many places doing multiple so I figure there is a reason for it!

I don't know when my valuation will be but the fee came out of my account this morning!

    Cheers :)

Leeds Building Society have done a hard credit check today, just checked my Equifax (I understand from a broker's reply on another thread on this forum that this is the credit company they use)!

I'm so tense. My solicitor is still sending me air and crickets, so I'm going in to the office despite them not giving me an appointment to do my ID checks tomorrow!

I am so nervous  :s been distracting myself by taking any bit of work my colleagues can give me! They must love me right now lol

I had same. I think it maybe to do with checking credit at past addresses maybe.

We had a valuation on Thursday morning and the offer was made in the afternoon. This was with HSBC.
