Hoping the snow does not slow things down, can't get hold of my broker so assume they couldn't make it into work!0 -
I’m waiting nervously
Only submitted a full application last Thursday. Valuer already booked for this Wednesday. Do mortgage companies send out a valuer before the underwriters look at the application and credit reports, or does it seem like it’s already been looked at?0 -
I’m on a similar timeline to you! Application submitted on Thurs. Valuation booked for tomorrow. So nervous that they’ll undervalue.
From what I’ve read they perform credit checks first and then book a valuation. I’m not an expert on this subject though!0 -
I received my offer on Friday morning. Good luck everyone! :j0

24/01 - further conversation regarding outgoings with broker and additional evidence requests and submitted

I'm just praying we get some good news this week! It sounded like they were close when our broker last spoke to them.. It's so difficult not to pester my broker every day and ask them if there is any status update..0 -

Hi there. I have an AIP with Halifax and submitted my full application 2 weeks this Thursday. I've had soft & hard credit searches from both Halifax and bank of Scotland ( I know they are part of Lloyds banking group lol ) last one done on 24th January.. my broker recieved an email today saying my case had been 'reviewed and referred to an underwriter' also in bullet point - document confirming the underwriters requirements.. I'm self employed and have everything to back up my AIP.
Can some please advise me if my case has been approved beyond AIP and going to the underwriter is really to double check all is ok or should I be worried??
Many thanks0 -

I checked with the lender today it’s been allocated to an underwriter but not sure if it’s been looked at. Valuation tomorrow, again hopefully no under value as the rate will increase. Their speed to offer is about a week so should know late this week or early need week depends on how quickly the valuer sends his report in. I was asked for ID this was promptly submitted.0
