10th Sept - After chasing up found out that the valuation is booked for tomorrow. Hoping we get a decision by the end of the week; all this waiting is the frustrating part.
13/09 - Post Office have come back asking for more documents. I think soon they'll have more of them then I do. Also had to find a way to politely explain that yes my P60 and payslips do match, if you read the payslip correctly. Beginning to think we must have the trainee working our case.
Still waiting to hear on the valuation but know that can take a few days.
Have definitely realised that I'm even more impatient then I thought I was!0 -

Hello,
Am new here,am just wondering if anyone has dealt with Masthaven bank before.we applied for remortgage with them for weeks now and i can say they have been really slow with the application. The broker told us the application has gone to the underwriter since 2 weeks ago with them just coming back asking for more document plus a solicitor that is going to deal with the transfer of equity am just wondering if this is right. we haven't receive and evaluation or offer yet but they want us to get a solicitor details to deal with this which we might be paying money upfront for.
Can anyone please advice on this if this means they are ready to offer us something or part of the process?
Thankst0 -
First time buyer!
05-09-18 - DIP/AIP given.
06-09-18 - Reserved new build
10-09-18 - Broker submitted barclys full application
13-09-18 - message earlier to say valuation is booked for next week
Am I safe to assume that as long as the valuation is fine, we will get an offer?
Surely they won't do the valuation before the underwriter checks.
Thanks0 -

Would it be possible to provide your timeline for this, it will make it easier to understand at what point your currently at. Has the valuation taken place as yet?0 -

Spoke to Barclys Twitter account there, they said "...This means the underwriters are assessing the case and will be subject to further checks on receipt of the valuation..."

25/07 DIP received from Nationwide
28/07 Reservation fee paid to builder
31/07 Full application submitted to Nationwide

14/08 Proof of deposit requested and sent
15/08 Valuation fee paid to Clydesdale
06/09 Valuation done and sent to Clydesdale
