What does your MA says? Is it just some documents they need or they still need to check affordability etc.?0 -

I am to a FTB waiting for a mortgage offer. I am so nervous. Have not slept in days.
We received a AIP from Natwest (Halifax declined) going through a MB (good friend). The AIP (hard credit checked by NW) was done early May.
The AIP was for £380k lend with 5% gifted despot. The offer made and accepted on Monday for our dream home was only £340k - lower then The AIP said they would lend.
MB sent all documents on Tuesday this week. Follow up credit check done same day by NW. NW Booked valuation surveyor immediately which was completed yesterday. Had a few follow up document requested via are MB yesterday afternoon ( extra pay slips, questioning a loan agreement)
Looking for some reassurances that it will all be ok. Any experiences and timescales? Feels like it!!!8217;s moving quickly but I don!!!8217;t know if this is normal?
How have you all got on being your applications to are recent? Any to Natwest. !!!55357;!!!56876;0 -
Hi all
18/06/18 - offer accepted on a property (£202.5k) and Mortgage Broker requested a DIP from HSBC (came back as referred). We do have a DIP from Halifax for £213k however their products are so much more expensive hence the DIP application to HSBC.
19/06/18 - Broker submitted full mortgage application for £182.25k (90% LTV) and provided bank statements/payslips etc.
19/06/18 - Received a voicemail from Countrywide Surveyors to say that HSBC have instructed them to survey the property.
I haven't heard anything since. How long does it usually take for a decision? Should I be worried that the DIP was referred?
