18/05/2018 - Application submitted with NatWest
So scared, AIP for £116,000 but looking to borrow £99,750 with a 95% mortgage.
Valuation fee was taken from my account today.
Crossing my fingers, toes and anything else that can be crossed.
Probably a bad idea having access to the online tracker as I keep checking and hoping even though I know there!!!8217;s probably not going to be any update.
PS - I am a Property lawyer and even I am nervous about this whole process.0 -

Still awaiting our official mortgage offer from Santander: the underwriters agreed the application until the valuation came back at £16,000 less. Renegotiated and my broker assured me no further underwriting required: however the MATS tracker is saying it has been passed to the underwriters.
Argh. I'm hoping it's just a case that we've gone to the back of the queue and this is nothing more than a formality.0 -

21/05 - Valuation fee taken
24/05 - Valuation booked for 31/05
Does anyone know whether the valuation is booked even if you haven't passed affordability? That's the bit we're worried about.
dpowell3 how are you getting on?0 -
this is bizarre....exact same time frame with me and Natwest. valuation next week.
sadly Natwest/rbs do day one valuations so the valuation means nothing....I'm guessing they are underwriting ours at the same time over these few days!0 -
Also waiting eagerly to hear from Virgin. Our house is chain free and we are FTB so want to move quickly.
15th May DIP with Virgin Money
18th May Full Application To Virgin Money
22nd May Valuation Fees taken from account
23rd May Found an incorrect default on my account with Experian from HSBC in 2013 !!!8211; had a total panic but was reassured from broker that we had both passed credit checks.
Just waiting on confirmation of the survey date.
We are staying with my partners Mother whilst we wait for the sale to close so praying nothing bad happens !!!8211; although our dog is loving life there.0
