    Thanks all! I've moved over to the 'waiting to exchange thread now' Hopefully see you all there soon!

    Just spoke to the solicitors, said there still waiting for searches to come back and 'they shouldn't be long'. I'm not sure what happens next really, setting a date to exchange I guess?

  • First post here, we have a AIP with Santander and full application went in on Monday. Waiting for the valuation to be booked in now. Soo worried about all this:eek:

    application in 10/8
    mortgage company looked at it on 21/8 and asked a few questions same day reply and valuation booked same day,heard nothing yet since monday

    gotta say bricking it nd starting to feel ill

    too scared to ask mortgage broker for updates

    Im the other way around - I won't leave my broker alone bless him lol.

    But I am equally bricking it and feeling sick. Pretty sure this is normal (I hope!)
  • my broker told me if we didnt hear it was a good thing, so fingers crossed for you.
    im not hopeful that ours will pass as the house seems too good to be true. we still have approx 10 days before we will hear

    11th August - House viewed
    12th August - Offer accepted
    12th August - Soft search AIP with Natwest completed
    21st August - Broker back from holiday and all doc's sent to him
    25th August - Hard search DIP done by broker and passed with Natwest and application submitted

    Now awaiting underwriting and survey. Keeping everything crossed over the coming weeks.

    just heard from mortgage broker valuation booked for 31st august seems miles away as they were booking it in on mon 21st,also wanting accounts signed by accountant and a consent form that needs to be witnessed by a solicitor
