We submitted application and documents a week ago.
L&C made an error in the application in relation to our solicitor info. I've been tracking the application directly with the lender (NatWest) and can see that they asked for clarification of this 6 days ago. Our case manager doesn't seem to understand that there is a mistake and just keeps repeating the info is on the application they don't need it again everyone I question this.
Tonight I just thought I've had enough and rang NatWest directly, they were great. Corrected info, checked nothing else was needed and advised that it was accepted subject to valuation. What does this mean?
If you have a ref number off Nattiest you can track it.
You still have to wait for valuation to be completed and final checks,
If you don't have ref number, call Natwest they will give it you and you can track it every day ,, thats exactly what we didgood luck

Thought i'd join in!!
31/07 House listed for sale
07/08 Accepted offer on our house
11/08 Had offer accepted on new house
13/08 Applied for mortgage with Yorkshire Building Society
13/08 Credit check completed and DIP received
17/08 Confirmation of mortgage application gone to underwriters
Awaiting an update from the underwriters now so hopefully shouldn't be too long. Fairly confident (as you can be with a mortgage application). We have some debt but credit history is spotless so should be ok.0 -

30th June: mortgage in principle
6th July: our house on market

9th August: our offer accepted on new house

Broker was on holiday so slight delay getting application in, but all done now and I'm already been SO impatient and it's only been an hour :rotfl: Building society website says 8 working days, broker says expect slightly longer, but shouldn't be much longer than a fortnight :j :j0 -
Update: They picked up the keys to do the valuation this morning and the natwest tracker shows they've got the valuation report already.
Hopefully not much longer now.0 -
So Natwest have got a Mortgage tracker.
Do Halifax have something similar? So I can just look myself instead of harassing my Mortgage adviser daily?0 -
If I'm going through a broker who is arranging us a mortgage with Natwest, will they give us the details to log in to the Natwest tracker?0
