LKA do not worry yourself! I was the exact same waiting for my valuation money to be taken but that took a week as they needed my other half to verify our address! They've asked for another payslip today...my nerves can't take much more and I am a week ahead! God knows how i will cope if we actually get declined!!!!!
I have come to conclusion that there's not much else you can do but wait and whatever will be will be!0 -
Hey Lka, it took nationwide 6 days to set my valuation up, and two weeks from mortgage app to valuation date. Don't worry yourself, this stuff takes time.0

Just had my mortgage offer come through from Halifax after a long 4 weeks, few issues as we are both self employed and I have bad credit but got there in the end0

Long winded journey but I think we are getting there!
1/12 - Application to Nationwide, valuation booked same day
7/12 - Valuation
9/12 - Valuer undervalued property by 20k
22/12 - Application to Santander
13/1 - Santander reject on affordability, didn't even book the valuation!
18/1 - Application to TSB
30/1 - Valuation
1/2 - Received valuation report through the post, valued at full amount
Still waiting for a decision, applied via L&C. Called yesterday (7/2) and my broker said he expected to hear something today. Anyone applied to TSB recently and have an idea of the usual turnaround time?0 -

Geez, good to know L&C are helping you out to get the mortgage. I am going through them too but with Leeds BS.
Good luck!0 -

Hi my application was through TSB. Survey was the Thurs, report was with us through the post on the Saturday morning, and our mortgage offer was through the post on Tuesday when we got home from work. Hope that helps (mortgage process took 2.5 weeks for us).0 -
Avoid Principality . Absolute nightmare for self employed. Endless thirst for income documents and accounts and expenditure. We've prob just lost our house.0

Rang Leeds BS today....and valuation is done.
Final check and it will be offer! I am a happy bunny.0 -
31 Jan - DiP with Newcastle Building Society
04 Feb - Reserved new build house
09 Feb - Mortgage application submitted
And now the nervous wait begins...
The product I have applied for has no application fees and no valuation fees so I'll just have to await word from my broker.0
