I have heard diddly squat about mine0 -
Mortgage offer in the post today! Now the next hurdles to jump...... :j:j:j:j:j0

Update from our Mortgage Broker...Nationwide sent 'Accountants Certificate' paperwork to our accountants 5 days ago, chased up today and the accountants response was 'I don't know how to fill it in so sent them something else'!! Unlikely Nationwide will accept whatever she has sent them (according to MB) so just delaying and we remain in limbo until Monday. I'm annoyed and will now have this hanging over our heads all weekend0

Got mortgage offer through the post today! Exactly everything I asked for, 95% LTV etc.. woo!
Now to instruct solicitor0 -
OK, after putting this off for far too long, I'm going for it. Been a long term renter after moving back to Scotland, and its just never seemed like the right time. Got a very stable job, pension, savings and inheritance.
11/02 DIP from Halifax applied for and received through my broker for £200k.
Now to find somewhere I want to buy - good luck to everyone in the process just now. Looking forward to finding a long term home!0 -

Final check and it will be offer! I am a happy bunny.
Can I ask how long it took from AIP to offer?
Also did they do another credit search after the AIP one? Just about to do full application and read scary stuff about them taking 13 weeks to do anything and I'm scared.0 -

Can you let me know where you checked that they did a hard search? Leeds Building Society's credit search only appear on Equifax so unless it shows on this report that they did a credit search they definitely have not done it. It depends on your case... when did you submit AIP? They will ask for minimum documentation after you submit full application. Depending on your case, they may ask for more document. You can check their service level, it is on their Intermediary website. Search Leeds Building Society Current Service Level and you should find a link.
I started my application on 27th Jan, valuation done on 8th and offer on 10th Feb. I don't think it could go faster than that. If it has been a few days since you sent all required documentation and they have not asked for anything else it should be ok.
Honestly, do not worry.0 -
Pretty sure it stated when I done the DIP at the end that a credit check would be performed and that it would be visible to other lenders/could affect credit etc.
Usually it states that it is a soft search but starting to think that it wasn't a "hard search" as not showing on equifax.
Full application is going in tomorrow. It's so hard not to worry :rotfl:0 -
Just rechecked and there is a credit search showing from them.0
