    Hi all,

I have applied via a broker to Natwest and below is the timeline:
    29/12/2016 - Full application
3/01/2017 -Valuation fee taken from account
    13/01/2017 -Request for December payslip
18/01/2017 -Request for December bank statement showing my salary
18/01/2017 -Request for three payslips from second bob.

I have not heard anything from broker since 18/01/2017. Has anyone dealt with Natwest recently? Do they normally take this long to make decision?
  • Hi everyone,

My mortgage was approved on the 5th Jan and I received it formally in writing on the 9th Jan. I have today received a further identical mortgage offer any idea why?

I know I'll need to ring them tomorrow but wondered if it had happened to anyone else.

    Hello Folks,

    Awaiting a decision!
    AIP last week,
    mortgage advisor meeting friday,
    full application submitted today.

    feel sick! haha!

The mortgage is through Natwest- does anyone know if the AIP is based of full credit with them? also done through Newhomes who i have found great so far! aslo if its a new build and they start to do they sruvery is this a sign its all good on the financial side of things?

Yes, at least in my case Nat west AIP through broker showed hard search on Equifax on the same day and upon actual application showed separate soft search. If you registered with clear score which is free, you can see both of them.

Mine took exactly two weeks from full App to offer.

    Good Luck with Mortgage application.

    Hello Shutter,

Thank you very much for the reply! I have just checked equifax and its a hard search alright, knocked my score by 70! haha.

How did you find them did they tend to ask for alot of extra information etc, or ask many other questions?

    hope you are well

    Joe,

I wasn't asked anything except what I have submitted to broker. The only query is abouy my CC.
I use my personal CC for work related travel (which will be reimbursed )and in last month it came around 2K, so they asked is it a debt which I replied no.

In my opinion so far Nat west process seems to be fairly stress free.
