Full offer via email today and posted out to the solicitors today too. Hopefully all on course. We had agreed a date of 10th Feb. The whole process has been ok, I'm quite impatient so glad it all seems to have gone well. One week from application to offer seems quick!0

Hey FTB here been painstakingly waiting to hear if we have been accepted or not. Myself and partner submitted everything to nationwide 6/01/17 via a broker. The Business Development Manager is now escalating our case to speed the process up a bit!! definitely need a beer tonight to calm the nerves after a tense week! :rotfl::eek:
Its so unfair I am seeing some people get there offer after 5 days with nationwide! but its taking us so long eeek!!
Good luck everyone! Sending positive vibes!0 -
Wanted to add my time line also..
Previously lost 2 houses due to various complications, 2 lots of solicitors fees, 2 mortgage applications. No house. 3 years into search for a home, outbid 3 times on other properties, finally found a house which seems straight forward and normal! The fun begins yet again...... 3rd time lucky???:o

24/01/17 Survey carried out
Our survey was carried out today so hopefully we will hear soon if it is acceptable, we offered 5k over asking hopefully Coventry agree with us that that's what the house is worth. It's a really desirable area and houses don't come up that often. Another couple were also viewing and we didn't want to lose it for the sake of a couple of grand, we see it as our forever home0 -
Mortgage approved and official offer sent out to us, I'm so excited to be moving over to the waiting to exchange thread, now the stress really starts!0

Our broker submitted our application on 21/1/17, just the (hopefully not too) long wait now0
