Valuation carried out yesterday. Just waiting hopefully for the offer. Does anyone have any idea how long after valuation for a YBS offer?

My brokers are The Nottingham, and the mortgage company are TSB. Both get full marks for efficiency!

Hi everyone! New to MSE Forum but thought I'd join the conversation! We're FTBs applying for 90% LTV through Natwest.

    - 05/01: Full application went in via broker.
    - 05/01: Estate agent advised mortgage valuation has been booked for tomorrow (06/01).

Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly! :-)

I wad super excited to join this thread for my first home - went to the bank this morning and an hour later was phoned to say it had all gone through! Just have to go back in to sign docs!

Super happy with how quickly this part has gone - just hope the valuation and survey go as smoothly!

Bank has requested two further payslips from my partner. Not sure why, she doesn't earn anything from a bonus and works no overtime :s. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about...

Wow that's amazing, if ONLY they were all like this!
  • Hi all, New to MSE forum.
We are FTB and we are planning to buy a apartment with 85% LTV and 15% deposit.
Sole Mortgage applied under my name (I am on spouse visa). Couldn't add my wife name as she is self employed for about less than a year and they need two year tax payment.
Working as a agency worker for about 9 months.
We went to mortgage broker, explained everything about my situation and we got an AIP from Halifax. Decided to apply for full mortgage

    Here are the time lines
18th Nov: Full mortgage application done
16th Dec: Received an email from broker that need any other documents for address proof (provided bank stagement) and a clarification letter from my employer coz there was some error in my salary slips.
6th Jan: Got an email from broker that lender need the salary slip mention in the bank statement you have provided.

We are waiting for about more than a month and still application is in process. I have emailed to broker to find our exact status of my application.
