No credit checks are showing on any report and I know Halifax don't do these pre valuation. Please let forms arrive soon so we can get this wait over with!0 -
Fingers crossed for everyone getting (positive!) answers soon.
AFM, I've just emailed the documents they requested on Friday, and the valuation should take place between 9 and 1 today so anxiously awaiting the results of that. Surely there can't be much more to go?! They already have my life story and every piece of paperwork I've ever received :rotfl: Good luck for tomorrow Natalie.0 -
When do Accord tend to do the full credit search? We submitted our full application two weeks ago and were asked to submit a few extra bits of information last week. The valuation isn't happening until Friday. I was wondering whether the credit search would have happened by now as nothing is showing on Experian as yet.0

Hi all!
We recently reserved a new build and have started mortgage ball rolling today.
Have applied for a AIP for Woolwich. I'm so nervous as H's earning are literally all over the place as very high commission/bonus focussed so just need to hope they are happy to take that into account!
Hate waiting around - hopefully we can submit the full application ASAP!0 -
Barclays aren't great with variable earnings.
We end up doing the odd case with Barclays here and there, but as a newbuild specialist, they are too slow to meet our builder exchange of contracts requirements.
The lenders we regularly use, commission is usually evidenced by averaging the amounts shown on the latest three months' payslips.
Bonus is taken and averaged from the last two payslips showing the bonus (for example Feb 16 and Feb 15 if bonus is paid annually in Feb).
Where there is low basic and high commission/bonus and 100% of the latter is needed, we use a lender which takes P60 earnings.I am a mortgage broker. I am worried that my broker isn't great.
He initially said Halifax but then said they wouldn't use the bonus and now he's saying Woolwich will but I'm not sure I'm just not confident to be honest!
Does help to buy affect the mortgage at all?0 -
Met with our mortgage man at Halifax on Friday, we talked insurances and he couldn't beat what we are currently paying so that put paid to that but he did tell us that Halifax have approved our mortgage and the formal offer is in the post and should arrive this week. Yay.House renovation savings £25,000/£25,000
