Congratulations rhett and welcome Barney72
I've just spoken to our broker who said the valuation has come back fine (hoorah!) and that Nationwide are now just waiting for my husband's P60, which we'd already sent but in the wrong format. Have scanned and sent this afternoon so hopefully will have an offer back within the next few days. I hope
Now it's the turn of the solicitor's to irritate me! They've forwarded the documents from the vendor to my in-laws rather than meDoesn't fill me with confidence :rotfl:

Hey everyone good luck with you mortgage apps!!
. I've had a successful AIP today with Halifax but I'm rather nervous for my application as I have 1 satisfied default of (£580) from 4 years ago. my Broker says there nothing to worry about because I have a 30% deposit but I not convinced.

I received a key facts with the Coventry in Feb based on a 90% LTV. Eventually I got through the full application, had survey after survey done, but have now been told they cannot proceed as the valuation isn't high enough. The valuation is actual bang on the 90% LTV. I have looked on their website and the product on the Key Fact sheet does not now exist. They seem to change every quarter. Anyone else had the same issue? do you think it's just a case of selecting an up to date product? Thought they would have automatically done this!!0

Progress. Our broker has said that underwriting is complete and that we should expect an offer if the valuation scheduled for tomorrow goes ok.
I can't bring myself to trust this news. Surely something will go wrong?
£500k flat 80% LTV. No chain.
AIP 22/3/16
Mortgage app submitted 22/3/16
Paid for valuation and arrangement 22/3/16
Extra bank statements and accountant reference requested 29/3/2016
Valuation booked for 8th April. 31/3/20160 -
Hmmm. If I can find a reason to worry I will.
How long does it normally take for a search to appear on Experian and Equifax? Soft search for AIP shows but can't see anything after that.0 -
Bank of Ireland have pushed back our offer twice in the last 2 weeks. Really don't know what to do and what could be causing this.... getting a bad feeling...0

Still waiting for SA302s to come from HMRC. Originally phoned three weeks ago but they weren't sent. Phoned again on Friday and the guy said he'd issued them straight away so was hoping they'd be here by now. I'm going to.wait till after post comes today and then phone again. It's frustrating because I don't actually think we need this income to get the mortgage! It's a second job. I've already sent tax year overviews but Halifax won't accept these. Business has been running 13 years so I have plenty of accounts etc.0
