Rang him at 1.30 when he was back off lunch, he had just called lender who is now on lunch until 2.15!!!!!
He's calling them again at 2.30......:eek::mad::(

2.50pm - call from MA, lender hasn't finished assessing... will have an answer today..... so hes calling them in an hour.....

We are at about the same stage as you (offer is in post, hopefully be on the mat when I arrive home today!). Anyway, from what I understand, the offer also goes to your solicitor. May be worth letting them know it's on it's way, or it may be that they have it already.

Have you paid solicitor for searches already? If not, you should be safe to do so now..I did that yesterday, and also asked if there is anything else i needed to do at the moment. She said that there isn't for now. My (amateur) suggestion would be to contact your solicitor to see if there is anything you can do right now.
