Hi all, FTB here.
Full application submitted with Bank of Ireland on 8/3/16. Valuation fee paid the same day also.

Just checked and the payment was taken from my bank on 9/3/16 and a full credit reference check carried out the same day.

Hopefully this is a sign things are progressing already - fingers crossed anyway!

We should be hearing from our MA at Lloyds either today or tomorrow whether we are being offered the mortgage or not. So, anxiously awaiting a phonecall! eek.

Update for us- MA just called and said mortgage offer will arrive in post in next few days! :j :beer:

I guess that means I should move threads now? haha

Guess so ! Well Done - although do you have to wait until you have it in your hands before you move away from here;) ??!

news from me - awaiting employer ref ( which husbands employers have not received?0 but apparently underwriting process complete which I am taking as a positive

Finally a good Monday morning for us too - just had the email that our mortgage has gone to offer now we just need our (awful) solicitors to pull their finger out and actually do some work for us! Congrats on your good news also Mizenberg :beer:

Valuation being done today, L&C say we should hear about a formal mortgage offer by Weds/Thurs. Our solictor has already been hard at work - there were some inconsistencies in the Property Information Form the seller has to complete so he has already queried these and we have made the payment for the searches to commence

Can't believe how much paperwork has been generated already and we don't even have a formal offer yet.

Final document is being assessed today... if approved it then goes for final checks!
MA is calling me around 5pm.... EEK

I trust our solicitors, so far. We just need our sellers to find somewhere now!!
