Rang solicitors today for an update (last tues sols said searches and enquiries have been started) although woman on the phone couldn't find my file so I will be ringing back tomorrow! been 6 weeks now with no chain so hoping it's not much longer!

I spoke to my solicitor today. still awaiting searches (should come back any day) and enquiries. I am going next week to sign documents, because she said once they are back then we will be good to go. really hoping so but need to stop thinking about it!!

22/10 found a house on right move on
23/10 AIP with Natwest
25/10 view the house..its lovely
30/10 offer accepted
03/11 Mortgage application submitted with Natwest for 90% LTV
13/11 Mortgage accepted subject to valuation
15/11 Valuation booked for 18/11

We cant sleep, we cant eat... we are so sccary that something will go wrong.. but fingers crossed... I will let You know what happend next...

Hi Savingbee, yeah we are very happy with the way things are progressing. We had 20% deposit and there is no chain involved our solicitors have been very efficient with things. Thank God. They said we should exchange contracts by next week. They are just waiting for the vendors solicitors to confirm things.

15/11/2013 - Mortgage application submitted with RBS (95% HTB)

We have a small settled default on one of our accounts, just hoping this won't stop our mortgage from being accepted.
