  • Hi can I join? We're applying for a mortgage through an advisor with santander. Put our mortgage apllication in on the 31st October. My credit report with experian showed they did a credit check on the 1st November. Asked for more information about my salary 6th (just finished maternity and wage didn't match). We've since been told our application is now back at the underwritters. How long does this usually take?? The lady who is buying our home is buying in cash and was wanting to move in in the next couple of weeks eeek! We're both using the same solicitors and have everything signed and in place ready to go, just need the ok from santander.
  • Mini update from me:

Going on Friday to sign contract/deeds etc! It's been a bit of a pain for us as OH works in Scotland and is only home every other weekend so we need to fit everything around that.

    AIP/full application - 1st Oct

We pestered again yesterday and the email response we received was that the survey would be conducted an day now?? I suppose at least things are moving. Fingers crossed now. Hoping there's no issues our offer accepted by the seller was for 7000 less than asking price anyway
