    13th November - Viewing
    14th November - full asking price offer
    18th November - offer accepted, application in
    19th November - proof of deposit, earnings etc provided

    Sat 9th Nov - Viewing and offer made
    Wed 13th Nov - Offer accepted and got Nationwide DIP
    Fri 15th Nov - Full Application submitted and payslips, p60, bank statements etc scanned
    Sat 16th Nov - Survey booked for 3rd Dec
    Tue 20th Nov - Employers reference requested (for wife on maternity)

    Hope to get a yes from the underwriters on Friday....fingers crossed!

    Mon 11th Nov - Offer accepted.

    Made an appointment to see an RBS advisor about HTB - MG. Date given was 29th Nov. Spoke to Natwest who gave us 20th Nov.

    Wed 20th Nov - Mortgage application submitted. Got AIP.
  • good news for me today! my solicitor told me we are aiming for a completion date of 2 weeks!! searches aren't back yet but she's confident they will be back any day xx

    That's quick! if you don't mind me asking what part of the UK are you in? I keep wanting to ring my solicitor to check for updates but I don't wanna annoy her!!

    Derbyshire.. Well you said in a previous post that your hoping for completion in 2 weeks which is pretty quick tbh!

    Yes but that's without searches and enquiries being back, so I think its quite optimistic if I'm honest but we shall see!

    Oh right, we got our searches yesterday and only a few inquiries outstanding.

    You should have the keys before xmas!!

    When will the solicitor apply for the searches? Do we have to wait until the mortgage offer is done?
