Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Hello,
Does anyone know what it means if I've received an email to say I have a revised mortgage offer in the post? I received my offer last week.... I don't understand how anything could have changed within that time!:(:(

My full structural survey went ahead today, and other than a few minor things you'd expect for a 30s house, it is in very good shape. Valuation survey on Friday and then it should be the home stretch. However, I have a quick question I can't find the answer to: I keep reading in various threads that a solicitor must be on a lender's panel to act for a buyer. I've not heard anything about this at any step of my process, I simply appointed a solicitor and then applied for the best mortgage I could. Have I messed up?0

I can't believe I am about to type this - we got our mortgage offer yesterday! Eeeek it was so exciting, my fiance got home just before me and said look look and we opened it together, it was an amazing feeling!!
Good Luck to the rest of you, I will be popping back on to see how you all get on!
Congrats TB1987, I've just popped back to see how everybody is getting on. :j0 -
Hi all! So after a few weeks of barely any sleep and constant googling... We got our mortgage offer today!!
Over the moon
To anyone out there who doesn't have a crystal clear credit history there is definitely hope out there! I've been terrified of being rejected due to several defaults going back 4-5 years... However it looks like all has gone through okay!
Can't thank my broker enough for putting up with me these past few weeks... Now on to the waiting to exchange board! 😁😁😁
Good luck to everyone xx0 -
Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind if I join you?
After a few false starts we had an offer accepted on a house on Wednesday evening and met with our broker last night to complete the full application. Valuation fees have been taken this morning so hopefully it will be smooth from here!
It's nervewracking as although my credit score is good I have a lot of debt (working my way down thanks to DFW forum!)
Quick question though - we agreed with our broker to go with Halifax, however a mortgage credit check has shown up from RBS on my experian....anyone know why this might be?
Fingers crossed for us, and for everyone else waiting!

Same here, they are part of the same banking group. They were all over my credit report too.0
