I applied mortgage on 13th of February with HSBC and started panicking now.

They completed the valuation in couple of days but since then they went really quite. I keep calling them but all I get is your application on its final stage.. Noone tells me how long it will take. The estate agent already started asking why it is taking too long.

I am first time buyer and have good credit history and reasonable salary. Is there any thing I can do to make HSBC to work on my application ? Their call centres/branches are compltely useless. They dont want to assist at all, someone should remind them this is not a free service they are offering..

    Thanks,

    Apo
