07/11/14 broker emailled to say Halifax are still assessing our docs
10/11/14 broker requested August's bank statement - sent
14/11/14 valuation was booked for today

Solicitor confirmed Searches complete - 13/11/2014
Received e-mail today
Nationwide have assessed the extra statements Nick sent in last week and these have been marked off as acceptable. The survey, as I think you know, has also been passed as acceptable.
Your file is going through whats known as a 'plausability review' at Nationwides end; basically it is the very final compliance and underwriting checks. I have been advised that this should move to a formal offer tomorrow for you. I will of course, let you know that this is the case and you may also receive a text from Nationwide!

Why can't they do the plausibility checks in the time they are waiting for the valuation to be done? :mad:
We have a case queued for this where the valuation was done and back last Thursday.I am a mortgage broker.
