Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Went direct due to the multiples with leeds, yeah full application on Friday. Had an offer accepted two days ago.
How did you find it? Were you at the higher end of the affordability calculation?
I do tend to withdraw cash for general use. I hope they don't penalize me.0 -
Yes we are 4.5x salary apart from that and maternity leave we are a fairly simple application but you never know do you? With my first house i don't remember feeling so much pressure and stress but i honestly can't sleep properly with this stress.
Lets hope we both have good results.0 -
My mortgage valuation is finally today! Whoop. The full application went in on 30th June.
Apparently all other boxes have been ticked and we're just waiting on the valuation.
Any ideas how long it might take to get the offer? This week???0 -
Finally got my mortgage sorted out, all queries answered, bank happy to go ahead. My solicitor is now ready to exchange as soon as the sellers are ready :-)
Still don't understand why it took 15 weeks though - looks like most people have a better time than that - good luck to you all!0 -
Halifax have asked for payslips from a job OH no longer has, why would they want these? Our broker is just going to tell them he no longer works there and hasn't sent anything in but they're now saying it's going to be another four days before they look at it. Look at what, there's no new information! We were told we'd find out early this week but now it's not going to be until next week. We're six weeks in and still no mortgage. Feel like giving up and renting tbh, cried all last night and can't concentrate at work.0

That's so annoying and i always think i sound so dramatic when i speak to people that are not going through this process and im panicking and stressing out but it really is horrible the wait and the not knowing.
I spoke to my MA yesterday (this is the 4th person I've dealt with at this large MA company) and she hadn't submitted the documents i'd emailed earlier that day and doesn't seem too fussed about my application...she said she should have an update for me Thursday, i'd give anything to have a decision this week but i think chances of that are slim to none.
You never know they may not be 4 days to look at it? fingers crossed for you.0 -

*nods head* Yup, that churning in the gut feeling really gets you, doesn't it? And everyone looks at you as if you are going crazy when you try and explain it!
We got rejected last Thursday (31/07) but they asked us for my wage slips, an email from a letting agent giving approx. rental value and their charges and some more deposit. We've sourced all of it and got it back to them by Friday and the waiting game began again...
Our MA called us yesterday just to tell us that he hadn't heard anything from the underwriters...I may just nibble my nails off here!

Oh wow rejected! I'm scared to open any emails from MA incase of a rejection. Hopefully they have all they need from you now if they have rejected you but said if you do A B and C then we will look at it again surely that means with A B and C done there will be an offer?
Positive thinking guys!!0 -
Im ready to explode. Our application was submitted on a new build on 22nd June still waiting for a mortgage offer. We have had surveyors to the property...some have said this means we are nearly there but it doesnt feel that way! Lender still asking for extras and as my partner has no p45 for previous job it has gone back to underwriter! I wish someone would just tell me if we could have a mortgage or not! So stressed!0
