So we got a phone call on 29th March saying we have the offer but it will take 2-3 weeks to be sent out. Its nearly 3 weeks and we are STILL waiting for it! Heard from MA last week trying to sell us buildings insurance and she said our offer is currently with the packaging department and we should recieve it early this week (well that hasn't happened) Tried ringing the MA today and she's on A/L until the 28th!
Anyone else had to wait this long?? I'm not a very patient person
Called the mortgage centre today and they told me our application went to final offer on 14th April and was posted out, but we still haven't received it so they are posting it out again today to both us and the solicitor. So fingers crossed it comes through in the post this week!TTC since September 20150 -
We're currently being held up by some 'right of way' issues with our property
Our Solicitors have instructed the local council to make amendments to our Deeds that guarantees the right of way to our own house. Has anyone had to deal with this in the past and know how long it should take?
Apparently this is the only thing holding up exchange and we were keen to complete on May 2nd. Is this now unachievable?0 -

Hi everyone
Been reading the thread for a little while, starting to get nervous:
Story for far..
28/02/14 - initial meeting with mortgage advisor to discuss options
06/03/14 - put flat on market
28/03/14 - 2nd viewing, can tell they are gonna make an offer
31/03/14 - 2nd offer accepted
05/04/14 - after looking at 5th house see house I like
07/04/14 - buyer of flats mortgage is accepted
11/04/14 - DIP in place with Nationwide for 2nd viewing and 2nd offer accepted.
14/04/14 - meet with mortgages advisor to complete application. MMR questions now in place, but advisor does not think this will be an issue
23/04/14 - valution booked. Had call from surveyor requesting email address to send t&cs, left email address on voicemail - hopefully this won't be an issue....
So tomorrow hopefully things will go smoothly.
My mortgage on my flat does not end until 30/06/14 and huge fees if I leave early... Hopefully this should work out.
I keep reading negative stuff about Nationwide and MMR, but so far... No issues0 -

VERY long bank holiday weekend
Tuesday 22/4/14 broker expected to hear by end of today. Phone call at 8pm saying he had a couple of snags - offer came back a bit lower, but he added something they hadn't taken into account, and then the computer said yes straight away! He said paperwork should be with us in a few days.
Does that sound like the way the Halifax system works? Can I actually sleep tonight???????0
