Back from a week away on holiday and there has been some progress on my application. Was told on Tuesday that application had been approved and a valuation had been instructed. Called today for an update and the valuers have not been able to get hold of the sales lady at the development to make an appointment, so a week wasted until she gets back to work on Thursday next week ;-(

Got our amended offer letter through the post this week. Searches have been completed, now just waiting on our solicitor to call us in and "sign stuff," as he so elegantly put it.

Well done Clueless. I called the valuers direct today and managed to get an appointment for tomorrow 12-3pm. Hopefully we will get an offer later this week, or very early next.

The valuation of the property I am hoping to buy is happening today!
I am very nervous as the company doing it is Esurv and I have read negative things on here about them.
They will have the valuation report by Thursday and the homebuyers report by Monday so fingers crossed.

Where is everybody at with their solicitors? I have paid the initial searches fee and sent my ID but that is all I know. I dropped the solicitor and email today saying I would like to talk through the process and timelines, just waiting to hear back.

My valuation and home buyers survey was carried out this morning by countrywide. Not sure when i will receive the outcomes from it hopefully by the end of this week.

I've not had any of my searchs carried out as i didn't want to pay for anything else until i knew there was no serious problems with the survey.

Very nervous.

We are awaiting decision and our our is empty.

Didn't quite understand why people say that moving house is stressful. I do now! We were moved by my Wife's employer 8 years ago - how I wish we were doing that again.

I feel battered and bruised by estate agents, solicitors and the Building Society. Request one thing, wait a week, request another. Lose our documents and put us to the bottom of the pile. Call centres - not being able to deal with a person. The list goes on.

There must be an easier way!
