Just got our mortgage offer through from Barclays if it helps anyone here are our timescales. Applied directly through Barclays Mortgage advisors
DIP - 29th January
Full Application - 29th January
Valuation - 29th January
Offer Received - 2nd February 
Super impressed at how quick it all was

Wow that is incredible. Congratulations! We waited for 3 months for our first one to be declined due to furlough situation and now waiting on second app. Stressed, anxious, you name it I feel it!

Submitted application to Newcastle BS on 22nd Jan - waited a week to be told the address on the DIP was our old address so we had to get a new one and re-submit . Got new DIP and submitted application on Tuesday so after a week of anxiety the clock has been reset and starting all over again! This is way more stressful than I expected it to be lol!

Full application submitted to Halifax on 19th Jan. 85% LTV on a new build, we were notified last week that the valuation had been delayed, but they were getting it booked in. Still waiting to hear back from MB on whether it has now been booked. I am so impatient so this waiting is not going well😂.. I seem to be stress eating too so if it takes much longer I will be needing a whole new wardrobe 🙈🙈

@AnxiousTeri the waiting to hear is the worst and I don't want to pester the MA because he would obviously let me know if he hears anything haha. I can definitely second the stress eating! The only thing that takes my mind off mortgage stress atm!!

Another one awaiting a decision, I went with Nationwide.  
Application submitted yesterday and valuation done today. 
Hoping this is a good sign and it won't take the full 4-6 weeks.

We’re in a similar position - we had our DIP approved with Newcastle on Friday and now submitted the application, waiting to hear back. I’m with you on the stress!

Good luck with yours!! We submitted originally on a Friday and the hard search was done the following Friday then the Monday was when we found out we had to do it again but our MA said that was when it was about to be fully assessed. Just to help with time frames
