So anxious waiting for reply from Newcastle Building Society. DIP via broker before Christmas, valuation done first week of Jan and all docs submitted.
An issue flagged when they asked employer for reference - my pay is broken down into basic plus enhancements for out of hours work, which is contracted. HR said it wasn't guaranteed so had to redo the reference with different wording. They sent that back on Friday. Now just nail biting wait to hear back to see if what they wrote was adequate! No idea how long it will take.1 -
Argh we are anxiously waiting too. Valuation done last week (14th) and still no news from Nationwide. Now in NI, where we used to live (London commuter town) for our previous two houses they just did a drive by! This is a house with approx 4.5 acres land in sticks so a bit harder to value, I guess!0
