Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Hi everyone,
Husband and I are looking to buy a new build flat in London using HTB. Had a great responsive mortgage advisor but was strong armed into using estate agents in house MA, as there were lots of other offers & this was a way to look most attractive. We did it as we loved the property and couldn’t risk being turned down.
New MA told me over the weekend that the AIP was received with Halifax for the full loan amount and that he would proceed to full application yesterday. Today he has emailed to say they are offering a reduced loan amount. I don’t know by how much as he won’t answer phone or emails atm. He is going to call and chase it up with Halifax.
Anyone had any experience of this and what was the outcome? I am
absolutely nervous about this whole process and hate that our MA is not that responsive0 -

18/9 AIP via broker
20/9 Reserved house.
5/10 sent HTB app
16/10 HTB amendments requested.
28/10 called HTB for update (4 hour call que), was told they had lost our entire application. Escalated case and got our ATP same day.
29/10 Full mortgage app submitted. Hard and soft credit checks.
30/10 Valuation booked for 3/11.
Nerves are shot waiting for decision!
In total it's been 4 working days from full application to offer with Halifax via broker. Definitely wasn't expecting such speedy process. Good luck to everyone on this rollercoaster!1 -

Anyone else struggling to get new information or updates from them?Me and my husband are both full time but he is on commission base and his Basic salary is very little, so first they asked for 3 months payslips, then for P60 then they asked my payslips do not much P60 what was a ridiculous question, then they asked for 6 months payslips... It was a bit complicated but ended up well. Now we told them that my husband will be furloughed for 2 weeks but it will not affect our affordability, so waiting on what they gonna say about that.0

Submitted to Virgin Money via broker on 4th November, they'd already booked the valuation for today which surprised me. Need to sign the documents and send them off. Fingers crossed!1

21/10 - Received DIP from Virgin Money
26/10 - Sent full application and payslips/P60s
29/10 - Received call from Underwriter with a couple of questions, all apparently looked ok. Advised that the valuation survey was being instructed and it could be a desktop one.
03/11 - Desktop valuation was booked in
04/11 - Called today to find that there wasn't enough data to carry out a desktop valuation, so they need to do a full survey and will be contacting the vendor
05/11 - The valuation surveyor (Connells) called this morning to ask about property access and keys for a valuation survey. I'm the buyer not the seller so that's not a good start! Have provided the seller's details so hopefully that all goes ok.

Hi there. We applied with TSB on 24th October, but haven't heard anything since. Anyone got an idea of their timescales? Our completion date is supposed to be 11th December.0

05/10 Full application with Natwest through a broker
27/10 Valuation done
We asked for HomeBuyer survey together with mortgage valuation so I think that is why it took so long.29/10 our mortgage broker called Natwest to ask about offer and they said it should be issued within 48 hours though at the same time they said that payslips were not ticked, but my broker said everything is ticked in her tracker and she received an email confirmation saying “approved subject to valuation”.No offer so far today, broker tried calling them but couldn’t get through, spent over an hour on the phone and then lines closed.Did anyone else experienced waiting for an offer for a long time?
A bit worried now as well that my husband could be furloughed (he works in car dealership) but seems like his company is arguing with Government about that.0 -
