FTB here, pulling my hair out applied with nationwide via a MA on the 24/07, valuation booked in 04/08 and have heard nothing since. I have asked my MA to look into it and been told its theres a backlog and It might not be until the 28th of August until the app is reviewed. Should I have heard something by now regarding the valuation? I thought we would have at least had a text message from NW to say they have received the valuation?
If it make you feel better I haven't heard anything since my valuation last Thursday 13th, spoke to my broker this week and they said Barclays hadn't received the report yet. I submitted my application on June 16th, was approved subject to valuation on July 9th and waited over a month for the valuation to be booked. I know what it is like waiting and not hearing much.
that really does help, I was worried something had gone wrong with not hearing anything. fingers crossed for you that you hear something soon!

Not necessarily it varies, our valuation was on 24/7 and they received the report on 31/7. I knew they had it because there were queries on the property price but only got the valuation received text on the day we got our offer on 13/8 so that was strange but some people get a text after 24-48hours. Their current service levels state 8 working days for valuation assessments but it could take less https://www.nationwide-intermediary.co.uk/placing-business/service-updates
  • Submitted our application with Santander on the 11th of August. Got notification from Experian that 2 searches were done by Santander - assuming one was soft and one hard? We got confirmation that the survey was carried out yesterday too. Hoping it’s a quick turnaround now. Does anyone have any experience with Santander applications recently ?

New Nat West going in today. Broker will insist on physical valuation as its paid for. Id passed credit and affordability with TSB so he will speak with them. So its sounding ok.
Survey booked for 24th. So no need to make Solicitor aware of anything yet.
Just hoping it all joins up without delay!
    04.06.12 no debt:beer:
Now house deposit saving £24,000 and rising:T thanks to 2x Barclays PPI successes

@Bells1111 glad to hear your valuation was fine! I’m at a similar stage as you, underwriting first and my valuation/survey has just been instructed so waiting for that to be booked. I’m sure you’ll get an offer if the survey came back fine! Good luck!
Thank you  I had my offer of a mortgage through this morning we are over the moon.  Fingers crossed you get yours soon

We are currently sat at valuation instructed with Santander. Was yours desktop or physical? Our EA hasn’t been contacted by the surveyor 😭

We have had one soft affordability search and that's it.

We applied 28/07, sent two lots of info in (they are being very picky about my SE) and now waiting on a letter from my employed job. Everytime anything is sent in its another week before it's looked at. Still waiting on the letter from work, hoping to get it in tomorrow. If it's the last thing (valuation was done last week) hoping to hear end of next week/beginning of sep.
