Hi all, FTB here and currently very nervous about this whole process, so it's great to see so many others in the same situation!
For those of you who've applied for mortgages already, I noticed that in lots of cases the lender did not request payslips until a few days after the full application was submitted. Does this mean you didn't need to provide the payslips at the point of application? I've recently had a pay rise at work - it's been backdated to March but this month's payslip will be the first reflecting my new salary. My employer has provided me with a reference letter but I know not all lenders accept this. I'm really worried that I won't be able to submit my full application until next week at the earliest as that's when I'll get my new payslip - in the meantime, it's been a week since my offer was accepted and I don't want the vendors or their EA to think I'm dragging my heels!
I don't have an appointment to speak with my broker about this until later in the week - all the questions and doubts are driving me crazy in the meantime.0 -

FTB here, pulling my hair out applied with nationwide via a MA on the 24/07, valuation booked in 04/08 and have heard nothing since. I have asked my MA to look into it and been told its theres a backlog and It might not be until the 28th of August until the app is reviewed. Should I have heard something by now regarding the valuation? I thought we would have at least had a text message from NW to say they have received the valuation?0
