@Bells1111 glad to hear your valuation was fine! I’m at a similar stage as you, underwriting first and my valuation/survey has just been instructed so waiting for that to be booked. I’m sure you’ll get an offer if the survey came back fine! Good luck!1

9/8: Documents sent via broker to lender13/8: Emailed both broker and estate agent for update, broker said will be another week at least to hear anything and that they will know when valuation has been booked in, estate agent said valuation booked in for 18th august (tomorrow!!) broker obviously didn't know this informationNow just waiting for the valuation and hoping we should recieve offer after this! I am on furlough but my other half (joint mortgage) has a lot greater salary than me and would cover the mortgage on his own so I'm assuming this is why I haven't been questioned on this further!I am in a rented flat with my tenancy up on the 20th September and really hoping things start to move quicker so I don't have too much of a gap between homes!!So heard from the broker today that the valuation came back at the price offered so that is good, he also said Halifax has said: The valuer has made additional comments on the report. We will contact you once these have been reviewed and provide any next steps that may be required"Has anyone else experienced anything like this?! making my nerves worse not sure what additional comments could mean!Thanks0 -

Just got word my valuation won’t be until the 3rd Sept! I booked the homebuyers alongside the valuation via my mortgage lender and now am wondering if I should have just gone privately, or if I would have had to wait this long for the lender if they needed a physical valuation anyway. Not sure whether to call and ask or just wait, it’s only 2 weeks but I was hoping it would be next week tbh 😬0
