I posted my 2nd cash back claim to TMO yesterday, like my 1st one, using the "Special Delivery Next Day" insured service. I was keeping an eye on the Royal Mail Track & Trace output this morning, and suddenly it updated to say something along the lines of "your item is being redirected to another address, and will therefore take 1 more day to be delivered".
This didn't happen last time - so it sounds like they have since moved out of their Suite 3-4, Riverdale House address.
This doesn't fill me with confidence one little bit!
Regards,
Mercury
PS: Never again will I waste my time on such a too-good-to-be-true offer!!0 -
Brenda, K et al,
Bill 11 turned up today, so I'll be right on your tail with cb#4 of 5 Brenda !! As always will keep the thread informed.....
GunJack - looking forward to binning T-Mobile once this cashback deal is completed....
p.s. Mercury - read back a little on this thread, there was some talk of the Riverside address undergoing refurb, so don't get too despondant yet......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

Hi GJ, Brenda,

Still waiting for CB#3 payment....
More as it happens....0 -
Brenda - just signal and service really, got mrs GunJack a new phone on 3 again ready for switching off T-Mobile at end of ctt. Not bad, got 500mins/100txts with free LGU300 (nice phone !!) from simply3g. Had from them before and they were reliable for cb. Total cost over 18 mth ctt = £80, minus £30 through quidco = £50 for 18 months !! Bargain !!
Yep, found bill #10, claim (almost) ready to go......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

This is my first post on this thread and probably my last. My current 12 month contract (with 12 month cash back) is now at an end. I got all my cash back from all my claims, it involved a number of letters before action and 3 visits to the small claims court (via MCOL) for 3 of the claims - all of which were in my favour. I didn't read this thread before I took out the contract with TMO, if I had, I wouldn't have gone with them. I followed their t&c's to the letter, yet still they didn't want to pay up. My conclusion is, if you do business with companies like The Mobile Outlet, Phoneboxdirect, coolnewmobile etc then be prepared for them to avoid paying any cash back and having to take them to the small claims court, otherwise get a normal phone contract or go with a reputable company with a not so tempting offer. Show TMO no mercy, they survive by not honouring cash back deals regardless of whether you stick to their t&c's. Finally thanks to people like thesaint, without their advice I would have been fleeced out of £540.0

It would be helpful if you continued to post on this thread, as your experience using the court system would be invaluable to others.
If you decide to stay, in January you will be on here more than me. :AWell life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
I am awaiting a court date to be allocated, so could you possibly answer some of my questions....
Did they turn up at court?
Did you receive partial/full payment after submitting the MCOL, but before your court date? If so, you still continued?0 -

Not wanting to speak for anyone else, but as he/she had to got to court 3 times, I doubt if they were awarded a full settlement as they would've had no need to go to court the 2nd and 3rd time. :AWell life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
3 visits to the small claims court (via MCOL) for 3 of the claims
Sorry to raise people's hopes, but what I meant by the above was that TMO paid what I was owed in full + MCOL fee (£30 each claim), they never persued any of the claims to my local court, they just sent me a cheque for the full claim amount each time. Apologies, I'll choose my words more carefully in future.
